So let me clarify that this review used to be a 5 star review. I’ve been coming to Kishos for over 10 years and love the food. Cesar and Enrique are hands down some of the top Teppan chefs you will ever get. Over the last year the quality has noticeably decreased, along with a huge staff turnover. Not sure if it’s new management, but this is not the Kishos I have been going to for over a decade. If you are going to spend the money, only eat here if you get Cesar or Enrique. Otherwise, you’re wasting your money. The service used to be top notch until Wayan left, who had been there for as long as I can remember. I ordered a sushi burrito (same one I have ordered for 10 years). It came to me without any tuna in it, only crab and lettuce. I was like this isn’t the sushi burrito; it’s crab and lettuce. They refused to give me my money back or re-make it. This never would have happened if the regular staff was still there or Cesar or Enrique were there. We love their food and still come but literally call ahead to make sure one of them is there to be our chefs.

We mostly come here for sushi and it’s always phenomenal. Everyone is so friendly from the moment you walk in. The chefs are so talented. We never have anything but a wonderful experience here! Highly recommend!

This place was absolutely spectacular! R The sushi is amazing, the teriyaki steak and chicken was a huge portion and we even saved some room to try the fried rice cream. The restaurant was beautifully decorated, the staff was kind and quick. Their bar is fully stocked, but we didn't have any. I can't say enough wonderful things about this restaurant. Worth the drive to try it!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Kisho Japanese Restaurant, and my experience far surpassed my expectations from a previous visit several years ago. The attentive staff expertly managed our stroller amidst the restaurant's vibrant atmosphere. The culinary creations were truly exceptional, justifying the reasonable price. While there were unforeseen shortages of wine and beer due to the enthusiastic weekend crowd, the staff promptly resolved the matter. The ambiance was perfectly suited for intimate conversations among a small group, maintaining an ideal balance between not being overly subdued and not being excessively boisterous. Kisho Japanese Restaurant is wholeheartedly recommended, and I look forward to returning for another enjoyable dining experience.

I can only speak for the sushi, and it was just OK. Nothing to write home about. I feel it catered more to an American palette, so those who seek a traditional or authentic sushi restaurant may not be satisfied. There was a confusing mishmash of Asian decor ranging anywhere from Chinese lion dogs to Naruto. Service was great, no complaints.
